Information We Collect

When you register for a Mahj Squad retreat, we collect the following:

Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Payment information processed at the time of deposit and final payment
Health and dietary needs relevant to your participation in the retreat
Photo and video consent preferences

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process your registration, communicate retreat details, accommodate your health and dietary needs, and manage payments. We do not sell your personal information or use it for purposes unrelated to your retreat experience.

Third Parties

To deliver your retreat experience, we share relevant information with hotels, venues, and activity providers. This may include your name, dietary needs, and health considerations necessary for your safety and comfort. These partners are not authorized to use your information for any other purpose.

Photos and Video

Photos and video may be taken during Mahj Squad retreats and used for marketing purposes, including on our website and social media. By attending a retreat, you consent to this use. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in writing prior to the retreat and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Payment information is processed through secure, encrypted channels.

Mahj Squad Retreat Terms and Conditions

Agreement

By registering for a Mahj Squad retreat, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. Please read them carefully before submitting your registration and deposit.

Retreat Operator

Mahj Squad retreats are operated by Alpenglow Travel, a licensed travel agency. All retreats are planned, managed, and executed under Alpenglow Travel's oversight and are covered under Alpenglow Travel's insurance policies.

Payments

A 50% deposit is due at the time of registration to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due four months prior to the retreat start date. Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in forfeiture of your spot and all payments made.

Cancellation by Participant

All payments are nonrefundable. If you need to cancel, notify us in writing as soon as possible at AnneMarie@alpenglowtravel.com. We will make every reasonable effort to fill your spot from our waitlist. If your spot is filled, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. If your spot cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.

Cancellation by Mahj Squad

In the unlikely event that we must cancel a retreat, we will notify all registered participants as soon as possible. If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will return any funds recoverable from providers. We are not responsible for any additional costs you have incurred, including flights, accommodations booked separately, or other travel expenses.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to the retreat. This should include coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, and evacuation. Mahj Squad is not responsible for any losses resulting from your decision not to purchase travel insurance.

Health and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring you are in adequate health to participate in retreat activities. You agree to disclose any health conditions, dietary needs, or mobility limitations that may affect your experience or safety. Mahj Squad reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior or health condition poses a risk to themselves or other guests, without refund.

Conduct

All participants are expected to treat fellow guests, staff, and vendors with respect. Mahj Squad reserves the right to remove any participant for disruptive or inappropriate behavior without refund.

Liability

Mahj Squad and Alpenglow Travel are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense arising from your participation in a retreat, including but not limited to acts of nature, illness, travel delays, or actions of third-party vendors. By registering, you agree to hold Mahj Squad and Alpenglow Travel harmless from any such claims.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Colorado.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants in writing.
